Last week, Alex Ryley, Director of VOLS’ Elderly Project, spoke to a standing-room-only crowd at the Pro Bono Coordinators Network Meeting of the New York State Bar Association's biannual Partnership Conference.
Alex discussed his project’s efforts to enable pro bono attorneys to provide effective pro bono assistance to low-income seniors.
Saralyn Cohen, Pro Bono Counsel at Shearman & Sterling, who convened the meeting, said, "We were glad to be able to bring together experts in the field of elder law and pro bono to discuss how best to provide pro bono assistance to this vulnerable population."
