The minimum wage increased on December 31, 2016:   Large Employers (11 or more) to $11.00 per hour and for NYC- Small Employers (10 or less) to $10.50.  The rate also increased for Long Island & Westchester to $10.00 per hour and the remainder of New York State to $9.70.  Read more
