I am excited to be working for the Microenterprise Project at VOLS as an AmeriCorps VISTA. As a VISTA, AmeriCorps has placed me to serve for a year with an organization that works to counter domestic inequality. The Microenterprise Project does just that, by creating access and opportunities for micro-entrepreneurs and small business owners.

Before joining AmeriCorps and VOLS, I worked on TV commercial sets in Detroit.  Earlier still, I worked in non-profit for over a decade including a human rights advocacy organization and a microfinance one. It will be exciting to work with small business entrepreneurs again. I have a BA in Psychology and a MA in Political Science. I also speak French and Haitian Creole.

I look forward to meeting and working with our clients and partners, including volunteer law firms and community organizations. I’m so excited to be joining such a wonderful team at VOLS.
