Dear Friends,

I’m writing to let you know about a free panel discussion tomorrow evening on the subject of seniors in summer — their special health concerns when the season of heat arrives. This event is part of NYU’s Perlmutter Cancer Center’s “Cancer Survivorship Series.”

Seniors may have special health concerns when the thermometer starts to rise. Tomorrow’s panel will discuss exercise, hydration, Vitamin D, healthy eating, and how all of these factors relate to cancer prevention.

This session will be led by Amanda Bontempo, MS, RD, CDN, registered dietitian at Perlmutter Cancer Center, and Jonathan H. Whiteson, MD, assistant professor in the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine and Department of Medicine.

The event will take place tomorrow, Tuesday April 19th, from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m., at the Perlmutter Cancer Center, located at 160 East 34th Street, 11th Floor, Room 1121. RSVP by clicking here.

All the best,

Alex
