I am happy to announce that Benjamin Cox has joined the Microenterprise Project as our new part-time project coordinator. Ben is dedicated to helping small businesses grow and is passionate about forging connections between the people and organizations that are also committed to this mission. I am confident Ben will inject a new level of energy into the project and I look forward to seeing it thrive with his support.
Ben carries a degree in business management from Babson College where he studied entrepreneurship in particular. Prior to joining VOLS, he directed the Babson-Rwanda Entrepreneurship Center in Kigali, Rwanda, where he delivered various business development services to micro-entrepreneurs in the region. In addition to this direct work with small business owners, he also collaborated with government, education, and nonprofit leaders to strengthen the country’s overarching business environment.
More recently, Ben worked as an independent consultant in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of the Congo, where he helped to design and launch innovative development programs within the governance, health care, and business sectors. Ben is also a small business owner himself, having recently launched BC Analytics, a Brooklyn-based consulting firm focusing on startups, social enterprise, and international development.
I hope you will join me in welcoming Ben to the team.

Executive Director
