The VOLS Incarcerated Mothers Law Project (IMLP) has nurtured a strong partnership with the Women’s Prison Association over twenty five years. WPA and its staff have been stalwarts and pioneers in provision of services and reform initiatives for women impacted by involvement with the criminal justice system. From its early years operating halfway houses for women, to its current array of gender responsive and trauma informed services, WPA has successfully partnered with, supported and helped to empower justice system-involved women.
