One of the great things about providing pro bono legal assistance is the way that volunteering can connect lawyers to the rich diversity and cultural life of New York City.

For example, the Universal Hip Hop Museum has received pro bono legal assistance through a collaboration that VOLS’ Microenterprise Project set up between Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft LLP and SOBRO.

This Saturday, July 11th, the UHHM will host a classic hip hop show from 4-6 p.m. at 134th Street and Bruckner Boulevard in the Bronx as part of the South Bronx Ignites Festival.
