Volunteers of Legal Service (VOLS) seeks to ensure that every New Yorker has access to justice by mobilizing pro bono and community partnerships to provide free civil legal services that protect rights and expand opportunities.

Our Services

GET HELP

VOLS’ free legal services support New Yorkers with limited access to resources as they face their civil legal challenges.

Our legal programs support older adults with incapacity and life planning, immigrant young people and families navigating immigration laws, individuals seeking access to public benefits, small business owners with transactional legal challenges, and incarcerated mothers with family law questions.

Pro Bono Volunteers
