Client Centered. Community Focused. Pro Bono Powered.
VOLS provides free civil legal services to low-income New Yorkers through close partnerships with community-based organizations, law firms and companies. Our vision is access to justice for every New Yorker.
Our Services
VOLS’ free legal services support New Yorkers with limited access to resources as they face their civil legal challenges.
Our legal programs support older adults with incapacity and life planning, immigrant young people and families navigating immigration laws, individuals seeking access to public benefits, small business owners with transactional legal challenges, and incarcerated mothers with family law questions.
