NYS Senator Bill Perkins and the Office of the NY Attorney General will host a “Predatory Scam Prevention Forum” on Monday, November 16, from 12:00 to 3:00, at Touro College, located at 231 West 124th Street in Manhattan.  Please click here to see the flyer that advertises the event.  The forum is open to the public.

According to the flyer, Senator Perkins and the Attorney General’s office have received numerous complaints from senior citizens that they have been the victim of telephone and mail scams. “The scams vary in description,” the flyer says, “but what they have in common is fraud, fear, and financial disaster.”

The flyer says that attendees should RSVP with the Senator’s office by calling (212) 222-7315.
