Adama Fonah is the Pro Bono Specialist at VOLS. She holds a JD from Brooklyn Law School, and a BA in Political Science from St. Francis College. Her VOLS journey began as a Law Graduate Fellow with the Benefits Law Project (formerly known as the Unemployed Workers Project) assisting claimants in their pursuit for unemployment insurance benefits. She is passionate about helping others, and contributing to the availability of an equal access to justice for those most in need of free legal services. As the Pro Bono Specialist with VOLS, Adama handles all pro bono related matters, including the pro bono newsletter, outreach, clinics, and connecting under-resourced New Yorkers with legal assistance and representation through the help of our pro bono partners.
