Crystal Giron

Crystal A. Giron graduated from SUNY Binghamton with a B.A. in Political Science and with a J.D. from New York Law School. Before joining VOLS’ Immigration Project, Crystal worked on affirmative and defensive asylum cases with NYLS’ Asylum Clinic. She has volunteered in the Mexico-United States border to prepare Spanish-speaking asylum-seekers for their credible fear interviews. Her last internship was at the Executive Office for Immigration Review in the New York City Immigration Court. As a Brooklyn-native and first-generation professional of immigrant parents, Crystal is compelled to vigorously advocate for the immigrant community in New York City and abroad.
