Karen L. Santana

Karen L. Santana is VOLS’ Office Manager and is committed to help the organization run smoothly and efficiently. Before joining the VOLS team, Karen worked for over 15 years in the legal field, at places such as Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan, LLP, where she was an Executive Assistant for almost eight years. She also worked at WaterAid America as their Human Resources and Office Manager, as a Transitional Bilingual Elementary School Teacher for the New York City Department of Education, and most recently as the Hispanic Outreach Coordinator for the NY-11 DeCillis for Congress congressional campaign. Karen has a B.A. from John Jay College of Criminal Justice. In her free time, she loves to cook, travel, play board games, explore new restaurants, and play with her two golden retrievers, Kyra and Neeta
