Rowan Groom

Rowan Groom joins VOLS as a Bilingual Legal Assistant for the Immigration Project. Rowan graduated from Smith College with a B.A. in Government and Spanish. Before joining VOLS she interned at Garfield Law Group, where she assisted in the preparation of asylum and visa applications, legal research and provided overall support to the immigration law team. Rowan previously worked as an English language tutor at the International Language Institute of Massachusetts, assisting Spanish-speaking English language learners newly arrived in the United States.
