On Friday, March 20, VOLS Senior Law Project Director John Holt submitted testimony to the New York City Council Committee on Veterans Preliminary Budget Hearing on the services provided by the VOLS Veterans Initiative and the challenges of working with older adult veterans. He called upon the Council to continue to invest in programs like the VOLS Veterans Initiative that provide veterans with free legal services that help them plan for their future and ensure they have the resources to remain a vital part of the New York City community.
